Fiddle Contests and Achievements

Students received a number of 1st thru 3rd  place wins at various fiddle contests in Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Below are some pictures from the World Series of Fiddling at  Langley, Oklahoma. However, it was decided that contests was counterproductive to the BPM program when students of the same band were competing and even though the students did so well in the contests they were not entered as a part of the BPM band program past the early 1990's. Individuals, however have reportedly continued to win contests through 1999 at least.
